Mr. and Miss Walker High Libby Powell Ben Hale Miss Walker High School is Libby Powell, one of the most outstanding young women to attend our high school. She is an active member of many clubs including Pep, Anchor, Medicol Careers, Beta, Quest, FTA, (Vice-President), and W Club. She serves on the Viking Staff, Student Council, was Vice- President of her Sophomore Class, and is Vice- President of the Senior Class. Libby ' s popularity is shown by the fact that she was chosen Class favorite in her Sophomore and Junior year and, of course. Miss Walker High. She was also chosen Who ' s Who (Ebony Charm). Libby was a flagger in the Marching Band, but now most of her time is spent cheerleoding. She became a B-Teom cheerleader when she was a Sophomore and then became a varsity cheerleader her junior year. Now she has worked her way into the position of Head cheerleoder. Among her many honors, Libby was 1 st Alternate in the Junior Miss Pageant, and olso the talent winner. She was chosen Who ' s Who Among American High School Students, and o National Cheerleoding Association Instructor. This year ' s Mr. Walker High is Ben Hale. His record shows that he deserves this honor. He was President of his Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Classes. His many clubs include the Math Club, the Beta Club, Honor Society, Agape, Quest, and Key Club. He is the treasurer of the W Club and is also the Vice- President of the S.G.A. He has served as both Vice- President and President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Ben has been extremely successful in athletics. He has three letters for playing football and running track. He was chosen Valient Vinking, received Honorable Mention in the All-State football team, and was named an All-County football player. His fellow students have shown their respect for him, not only naming him os Mr. Walker High, but also, by selecting him Junior Class Favorite, and Most Popular in Who ' s Who. Ben was also a Boys ' State representative. In summing it all up, Ben has been an active member of our school and has shown that he is Mr. Walker High. 21
