'ix 'S as e' S e 4' .1 2 SENIOR CLASS PLAY . ,, 3 4- SENIOR PLAY CAST- Aaron Slick, not as green as he looks Mr Wilbur Merridew, a crooked speculator Clarence Green, a mysterious young man Mrs Rosy Berry, an Oklahoma widow Gladys May Merridew, a sweet young thing The Girl in Red -: 'P I J, .1 Leon Arp Don Boesenberg David Melsa Dolores Erusha Mary Lou Snell Vivian Cerveny Little Sis Riggs, a regular tomboy Joyce Hofmaster PLOT Pig, pig, pig, pig eel These were the opening lines of the Senior Class Play It was a rural comedy ln three acts written by Lieut Beale Cormack Widow Berry is about to sell her farm to Wilbur Merridew, who is willing to pay her a pal try sum, when Aaron Slick steps in The speculator thinks he will get rich quick when he starts drilling the oil from the Berry's farm but is he in for a surprise? You see Aaron poured a barrel of oil on a pond of water just for effect There are plenty of laughs when Widow Berry finally goes to the big city and Aaron follows her to the cabaret only to be taken in again by a cabaret girl But as usual, Slick wins out only to prove that the farmer is still too smart for city slicker Q li F it R570 Av. 4 at flla W S F Wd.. S O C I A L What happened to the Freshman Class on the night of September 16? Did any of them get sick from their ride in the barrel? From all reports, there were no disastrous results when the Juniors played host at initiation, but we were glad not to be a poor nFreshieH. Everyone else had a swell time! And such a huge lunch!
