It appears that it has almost reached the point where it is taken for granted that Coach Bell's trackmen will turn out a very successful season, and this year is no excep- tion. This year's team is extremely well- rounded and poses a well-balanced attack against all adversaries. Standouts can be found in Seniors Greg Kwederis, Bill Cronin, Dave Ott, john Mader, and john Duston, but the success of the team does not rest entirely on their shoulders. Outstanding perform- ances have also been received from Greg Kaprelian, Tony Ferlazzo, and Al Wedemier. The talent of many yet unheralded under- classmen assures Waldwick of still more successful seasons to come. Duston puts out. Indoor Track The hours of practice in snow, rain, and biting cold, finally paid off when our team came home with a state championship. The team, made up of Greg Kwederis, Bill Cronin, Tom Heerema, and Al Wedemeier took the honors in the Indoor 2-Mile Relay at the Jersey City Armory with a time of 2:18.8. Thus through this effort we have continued the time-honored tradition of Wfaldwick High School.
