The math team, with Mr. Daniel Flegler as its coach, meets with other schools for math meets five times a year. Each team member is scored individually and at the end of the year, their accumulated points are individually tabulated and compared. At the last Math Team meet of the year a buffet style dinner is held. At the conclusion of the meet, high scorers from the county and from each team are awarded a prize for their achievements. es'e er 4 l A sse Library Library Aides The library aides, under the direction of Mrs, Kelsh, devote a great deal of their time to the task of keeping our library efficient, orderly, and easy for students to use. On the first page, THE ECHO tells of future events, with follow ups appearing on page three of the next issue. The fourth, or sports page tells of the victories and defeats of the Warrior teams. On the editorial page, staff opinions are expressed, and space is available for student reaction. Published monthly, THE ECHO is the official newsheet of the school. ' They worked on through the early morning . . . gloom. A good showing for so early in the morning. Hoagie Sale The annual Junior Class Hoagie Sale was held in the Spring of 1970. Early one Saturday morning, too early for most, willing juniors rolled out of bed and over to the high school to make hoagies. While some worked on the assembly lines, others deliver- ed the finished products. A large profit was made, and the workers General Packaging should be this efficient. returned home to crawl back into l bed. Shelley O' Connell wraps it up. Bonfire On the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving, the annual bonfire - pep rally was held on the field. The students turned out in the cold, but were warmed by the fire.
