Darlene Mutchko Waldwick High School's Ma- jorette Squad inevitably contrib- uted a welcome plus to all in which they participated. Whether twirling at our football games or marching in the Memorial Day Parade, the squad added enthu- siasm to every event, reflecting the spirit of Waldwick High. In the Ramsey Twirling Com- petition last year, our squad placed third, competing against fourteen other schools in our area. COLOIl GUARD '69 U ',,i' f ' 3 With uniformity and a variety of routines, the members of the Color Guard gave a colorful performance at the football games this fall. Under the direction of Mr. Lau- rent Gareau, Co-Captains Carol Gneiding and Susan Hille were able to achieve a military appearance and still add excitement to the theme of the halftime. The purpose of the Color Guard is to present the Amer- ican flag, along with the school flag and banner, at school activities. During the pregame of football and basketball games during the opening of pep rallies, and during the Memorial Day parade all eyes fall on the members of the Waldwick High School Color Guard.
