IIBCIIE TBA Members of the Waldwick High School Orchestra are invited to participate. Therefore, they represent the best musicians in the student body. The orchestra performs at the annual Christmas and Spring Concerts, various assembly programs, and state and county festivals. Other activities in which they are involved include a music exchange program. The Waldwick High School Orchestra presents a program to another school, and, in exchange, that school is invited to perform for our student body. Strolling musicians perform in the halls during the Christmas season. , .2 -- I can't look. Performing at school events and marching in local parades, the 1969 Marching Band has become an antici- pated feature of Waldwick High School. This year the band offered A Little Bit of Mexico featuring the songs Spanish Flea and Tijuana Taxi. Under the direction of Mr. Larent Gareau, the band prac- ticed long and hard for their performances at Saturday football games. Most observers will agree that the Waldwick High School Marching Band is a distinguished contribution to the color and excitement of school events. Senior High Chorus performs at the Christmas Concert. CIIUBUS SENIOR HIGH CHORUS - First Row: Maria Tamburello, Debby Schwinge, Trudy Reysen, George Occhipinti, Kimba Miller, Lynette Schoen, Kathy Rosen. Second Row: Sherri Coerts, Jeanne Leigh, Phyllis Locantore, Cheryl Mileham, Darlene Mutchko, Sue Koehler. Third Row: Libby Bell, Donna Holdrum, Eileen Porter, Susan Andreotto, Tom Sinno, Mike LeBlanc, Kim Rowe, Judy Gore, Cynthia Gregg, Pat Williams. Fourth Row: Pam Hamilton, Gerri Neuman, Glenn Gunthner, Pete Sala, Linda Exum, Claire Connelly. Chorus Director, Mr. Daniel Schwartz. Chorus is an elective in the high school cur- riculum. Interested students meet in daily classes to practice songs which are presented in concerts to the student body. The Chorus performs in two concerts a year, the Christmas Concert, presented to the students only, and the Spring Concert which is open to the public. Under the direction of Mr. Daniel Schwartz, the Chorus has expanded in the last year, to take on new and exciting dimensions. Next year, Mr. Schwartz hopes to organize a Glee Club to supplement the Chorus, open to the student who is unable to find time for Chorus in his curriculum.
