Q, ., The Waldorf golfers finished the 1969 season with a 9-4 record and a fifth place finish in the 16 team Regional tournament. Most of the meets were double dual meets scored on the match-medal system. Seven golfers qualified for at least one meet. The first four positions were well set with Tom Anderson playing number one manp Bruce Bradley-twog Bob Williams -threeg and Bruce Olson-four. The fifth man was usually Monte Waldorf, but Mark Adix and Dutch Haaland also qual- ified occasionally. The season was a disappointing one for the team who had much higher hopes as the season opened. -The team wasn't able to practice much early in the seasong and, as a result, the golfers came on slowly. They never did reach-their stride, but made up for disappointments with practical .jokes and a jolly attitude. Tom Anderson and Bruce Bradley were the stand-out golfers on the squad. Bob Williams was Very steady, and Bruce Olson was a consistent point-getter. 1
