ELECTIONS STIMULA TE DISCUSSICW ON CAMPUS October arrived on Waldorf campus and brought heightened anticipation for the up- coming elections. A straw poll was held, and the results reflected the mood of the nation, with Nixon winning. Throughout the fall season, stu- dents discussed the best man for president of our country, the best man for our senators, governors, and our congressmen. Along with discussion about the possible leaders of our nation was discussion about action we should take in domestic and foreign problems. Students voiced their opinions on the Viet Nam war, Civil Rights issues, and riots and demonstrations occurring throughout the world. Discussion also took place on a smaller scale, concerning issues right here on our campus. The seemingly biggest issue was that of dancing on campus. Students wondered why dancing was forbidden, and formulated plans to eliminate this rule. And just as in all issues, there were people both for and against the establishment 1 'EEK

People share their message This year several men visited our campus and their presence enhanced both our religious and academic life. Each one was completely indivi- dual-each with his individual message. A dynamic organization present on campus this year was LYE-Lutheran Youth Encounter. This group spread good news throughout the mid- west by participating in church services and serving God through their lives. During the summer two teams plan to travel through the United States telling their story. A NCL 5.-lan
