Philbrook Prize Speaking Contest is held annually. All students of the high school are eligible to corn- pete to become finalists. The finalists are coached by Mrs. Hilton. Student Council The purpose of the Stu- dent Council is to improve V school spirit and to help students to be better citi- zens. It consists of the class presidents and an elected member from each home room. This year Laurie Jane Winchenbach was elected Secretary of the Maine Association of Student Councils.
