To everyone, we would like to say that we feel this is no ordinary dedication, because this is a dedication of all the love and thanks which we could not possibly express in words. No one else has done so much for us as have our Parents. We've reached the goal and there's a story behind -- a story of many years of understanding guidance, and love on the part of our Parents. The president of this class is hereby given the right to destroy all class record books, so that everyone can go through life as having been an A pupil, and there will be no way to dis- prove it. To the Junior class we give the use of our class rooms with all their sup- plies and furnishings, for a period of one year. Of course, in the exceptional case of a student desiring to stay a longer time because of love for his school, the period is hereby extended to such time as it will take for that student to feel the desire to leave his beloved grade. I, MARTIN J'AY AUGENSTEIN, will my weight to Dave Smith. We'd better get together, Dave. I, BRADFORD K. BRADY, will my flying ability to Dick Kaelber. I, PEGGY JANE CRISWELL, will my ability to get dates to Wallace Beckel. flf at first you don't succeed, try, try again.l I, REX GORDEN HENRY, will my grin to the Junior Girls. I, MARY FRANCES HOLLANSHED, will my hair to Carol Shuster. I, JOHN WILLIS I-IORD, will my Southern accent to Joyce Shoaf. She needs a change of voice -- that is, a change for the better. I, FRANKLIN DELANO KLINGEL, will my ability to flirt with the girls to Bob Axline. How do you like that, Bob? I, ROY GORDEN KLINGEL, will my ability to keep quiet in class to Stan Yake. I, PATRICIA ANNE IVIOHAT, will my ability to keep out of the faculty's hair to Wayne McFarland. I, BUDD LEE MEYER, will my sleeping ability to Zane Plumley, who seems to need some extra hours. I, DAVID JOE NOE, will my dancing ability to Ronald Schultz. I, JANET LUCILLE RENGERT, will my discrimination in selecting men to Marilyn Rengert, who seems to love 'em all. , Class Will lcon'tl I, JOYCE ANN RIDER, will my quiet ways to Phyllis Buxton. Do you think Phyllis will contest this in court? I, ALICE FAYE SHUSTER, will my un'1ph to Evelyn Myers, who will need it to get through life. I ROBERT EUGENE SMITH, will my car to Irene Pfirsch. How would you like that for a present? You and Tubby could probably put it to good use. Right? I, WAYNE WILLIAM WITZEL, will my height to Jane Yake. This is the long and short of it. I WILMA WANUETTA WITZEL, will my diamond ring to Sue Denzer. 1 I DALE EUGENE YAKE, ljust to prove I'm big-heartedl will my most treasured possession, Jean, to any guy that's brave enough to go'after her. I just dare you! We have signed, sealed, and published this as our last will and testament this seventh day of May, nineteen hundred and fifty-five. The Senior Class of '55 of Waldo High School. Class Prophecy Gliding along in my Rolls Royce, I begin my Sentimental Journey thru time. The year is 19755 and the place is anywhere in the United States where my trusty vehicle may travel. At my first stop for refueling, I find that BUDD MEYER has started the famous Budd Bombers Circus tour. He is a wild man, strong man, and trapeze performer, and he even sells popcorn between acts. Upon turning the next bend in the road, I am amazed to see that PEGGY CRISWELL and Paul are living in Norton and have their own cab company. Their children are the cabbies. So far they have five cabs in operation. Q Visiting the old hangout, I recognize WAYNE WITZEL as the elevator operator in Dod's. That is the only way he could keep up with people. I see that DAVE NOE and Sue are still the lovey-dovey couple that we used to meet in the halls as he helps her with the dishes and she helps him milk the cows. I stopped at the parsonage Saturday evening and found Reverend REX HENRY rever- ently preparing his Sunday morning sermon. We always knew Rex had it in him. As I left the church and switched on my car-to-car TV set, I learn that two of our classmates are touring the country giving lectures. MARY HOLLANSHED is telling the people about her trip through the United States on a kangaroo. JANET RENGERT is lecturing on how to grow super special Ohio Certified Seed Corn. It's all corn and no cob. As I dr ive past the new super hospital, I see a familiar face peeking from a second floor window. Who can it be? Oh, it is PAT MOHAT, who is gray haired and not married. After getting her nurse's degree, she was busy taking patients' pulses and holding their heads. Now Pat has traded places with some of her patients. She still can't decide about those service boys. They always were a worry to her. Zoom! What was that? It's our own BRAD BRADY in his jet propelled plane, taking his Queen of Dreams back to her throne. Brad is her personal escort, you know. After deciding to cruise to New York for a visit to Carnegie Hall, I am surprised to see a great singer, none other than DELANO KLINGEL. He is the star soloist with the Raz Ma Taz Orchestra. He is the lover boy of many New York girls. While in New York I visit the TV studio, and as I glance into one of the rooms, l see Perky JOYCE RIDER. She is the new Home Demonstration Agent that demonstrates new ways to fix olives. Her newest concoction is a chocolate and nut stuffing. Class Prophecy 4con't7 For a change of atmosphere I decide to go to Alaska and on my way I stopped at Chicago. I learn that MARTIN AUGENSTEIN is now head taxi driver there. He really gives his customers a thrill when he tries to dodge traffic. But then, in Waldo he used to give the pedestrians a thrill--or was it a scare? When I finally reached Alaska, after several mishaps, I meet DALE YAKE, who is now living in Anchorage with his wife, Jean. Between both of them they have a very good fur business. Dale buys and sells the furs while his wife skins and cleans them. On my way back to civilization, I stopped for a rest in Indiana. Bang! Crash! What do we see, but .TACK HORD checking in another wreck. Since leaving good old W.H.S. .Tack has gotten a job in J'oe's Junk Yard in Indianapolis. He is still working hard to attract the attention of that certain girl. Good luck to you, Jack. Of course everyone has heard of BOB. SMITH, the defeated candidate of the last presi- dential election. We hear he'1l run again next election. You just can't keep him down. On my return to Waldo, I find ALICE SHUSTER is still listening in on the confidential business of playboy Doc as he reluctantly drops his nickel in the slot at the phone booth in I-lol1y's Restaurant. I see a wedding couple emerging from the church. It is the radiant queen of Lawrence Mosier. They will reside on SunnylAcres . Oh, happy day MISS WITZEL ...... excuse me, Mrs. Mosier. Also, another news item concerning a favorite home town lad, is that ROY KLINGEL is doing very well in the plumbing business. His latest invention is the Non-Drip Faucet , which has made a fortune for him. To show their great appreciation for his outstanding invention, the Housewives of America have voted Roy their pin-up boy for 19-71. As my sentimental journey nears its end, there comes to sight the familiar skyline of Waldo Metropolis, with the imposing outline of the Waldo Supply grain silos etched sharply against the setting sun. Whoa Rolls Royce, whoa. We're home! Senior Alphabet is for AUGENSTEIN, Martin that is, First place in the Prince of Peace is his. is for BRADFORD, backward and shy, You never see him when he doesn't say Hi ., is for CLASSROOM, where we act a fool, But there are other reasons why we come to school is for DELANO, one of the Klingel crops, On the football field he's one of the tops. is for EGGS, a nickel a piece, To the Senior Class, at least. is for FAIRCHILD, always where he shouldn't be, When we are goofin' off he always has to see. is for GRADE CARDS, we hate to take home, Sometimes when we got them, we wanted to roam. is for HENRY, little but strong, He never seems to do anything, wrong? is for IDLENESS, we never could find, Because we've always been the ones who mind. is for JACK, newcomer this year, Straight from Kentucky, Jacque you will hear. is for another KLINGEL, Roy this time, He is a little devil, but the teachers don't mind. is for LUCK, the Seniors have had, Trying not to get caught when we were bad. is for MOHAT, MEYERS, and MARY, Always in the wrong seats in classes for Larry. is for NOE, who is straight and tall, Playing a trombone, he beats them all. is for OWFUL, the spelling that's ours, Still very bad, though we study for hours. is for POOR, our class in speechg Sammy sorta likes to preach. is for QUEEN, a right cute dame, And as you know, Peg is her name. is for RIDER and RENGERT, too, They love to sing Skip To My Lou . is for SMITH and SHUSTER, too, In the play, they played their parts true. is for TRIP, we hope soon to take, But we still have Money to make. is for USEFULNESS, we lack not, is for VIGOR, the Seniors have got. is for WITZEL, we have two of them here, WAYNE and WILMA, both we hold dear. is for UNKNOWN, the one that wrote this, Whoever it is, we surely won't miss. is for YAKE, Dale, that is, When Minges is around, he works like a whiz. is for ZIP, which the Juniors have not, Without Miss Nick, they would all go to pot.
