Smith T L Millspaugh, Board of Education For more than three years the efforts of our school have been directed toward winning the war and preparing students for their participation in the war effort. Constantly aware of the problems involved in this program, the Board of Education is also looking forward to the program of peace education. Will the buildings and equipment be sufficient for the post-war program of education? Will there be adequate facilities for helping the returning veterans? What will be the growth and educational needs of the community? Will there be sufficient State Aid to carry on an adequate program without increasing the burden of local taxpayers? These are special problems confronting the Board of Education in addition to the everyday decisions that have to be made, such as: How much insurance should be carried? What is a fair salary schedule? What repairs should be made?
