Desiring always to maintain the high standards of Walden Schools and to pro- vide special courses tor the war effort where practical and needed, they are faced with higher costs of materials and services and lower income through decrease in state aid be- cause ot lower attendance. Members of this group are active in band, orchestra, Iunior Red Cross, Ir. Chorus, salvage drives, and in remembering members who were ill. They participate in the clean-up days sponsored by Student Council. Class meetings were held when class matters were to be settled and discussedg activ- ity periods were usually busy with the work named above.
