Gillespie The Nuntii Chapter, a local chapter of the International Honor Society for the High School journalists, publishes and edits the Nedlaw. Members are eligible for membership after they have done superior, creative, journalistic work, have been in the upper third ot junior or senior class, and have been approved by the supervisor of journalism in the school and by the International Secretary-Treasurer. New Members are initiated at a candle light service. The type ol work done by members is much more advanced in its organization and extent than that of Hi-Notes. The Chapter usually goes to New York where it sees a newspaper in action, book- binding or some phase of journalistic work. A blessed companion is a book,-a book that fitly chosen is a lifelong friend. There is a place in the school which serves teachers and students of all classesg it is here that all these persons may find information about almost any subjectg moreover there is wealth of literature to be enjoyed. lt is the functional center of the school providing both reading and reference facilitiesg it may Well be referred to as the nerve center of the school. To the person through whose foresight in planning for the ever increas- ing needs of the students and through whose complete cooperation with faculty and student body and ever ready Willingness to assist all who need help-to the woman who has made the library the splendid living nerve center that it is--Mrs. Alice B.
