Dight The Service Club of Walden High School is composed of students in grades nine through twelve who voluntarily offer their service at least one period a week to work at the special Service Club desk in the main office. A member of the club is there every period of the day to run errands for the teachers and office staff. Another responsibility that the Service Club undertook last year and has continued this year is selling milk at noon-time to the students who remain in the building to eat their lunch. Having purchased the service flag for the boys who have entered the Armed Forces, they are attempting to keep the number up to date. A Lost and Found Department was started in the office. Although there was always a special drawer for unclaimed articles it has never before been kept in order. lt is the duty of the Service Club members to keep the department working orderly and to help students recover lost articles. l15l B.
