However, the staff of the Wak-igh-ian attempts to swing the hands of Father Time ' s clock counterclockwise and literally recapture the 1964- ' 65 school year at Wakelon High. We have tried to present a well-rounded picture of this year, but we realize there are many intangible things that pen and camera cannot record. May the ' 65 Wak-igh-ian always be a true reminder of your everyday life here, academically and socially. This book will have a different meaning for each one of you as you fill the gaps in your own memories of things most dear to you. Consider the enormous amount of work and planning behind it, and don ' t be critical of the effort.
