Gilbert Bullock died at the ripe old age of thirty. His love poems made him so famous that his body was placed to rest in the Poet’s Corner of Westminster Abbey. Douglas Cooke is now a pilot in the Air Force. Since he can’t fly too low on his Ford, he has been trying it on his plane. The other day he crashed into the Wakelon High School building and said, That’s something I’ve always wanted to do.” Hazel Bolton is now No. One columist for the Zebulon Record. Her column is Who’s Who in Rocky Cross, Middlesex and Union Hope. Jean Corbett was such a good baby-sitter for her little brother that her family has estab¬ lished a Baby-Sitters ' Agency of which she is chief baby-sitter. Mrs. Wall has retired from the school faculty now. But it wasn’t hard to find someone to replace her, for Faye Pearce was more than ready and willing. It is good that we have one of our classmates to teach our children.

It happened last spring at the Raleigh-Durham Airport. She backed into an airplane propeller and you know what happened - DISASTER! Crettie Parrish spends all her time writing nowadays since she made a big hit with her first publication, I KNOW WHY ONE SHOULD NEVER HAVE GLASS IN THEIR CAR WINDOWS. Her characters for this book are based on the true experiences of Wayne Perry and Helen Faye Todd. Gerry Phillips is a faithful follower of the Navy. Of course she is Mrs. George Crowder, who lives on a house boat with her two children. Belle and Bottom. Dr. Bulla isn ' t our school doctor anymore, but Dr. Bullock is. Yes, it is our own Rich¬ ard. We aren ' t for sure about Catherine. The best we could make out was that she had skipped country with a tall, dark and handsome male. We hope that she is headed for greener pastures. Katie Joyce Eddins is now editor of America ' s most read comic book, Cats and Pajama Kidds at Wakelon High.

We all remember Carol ' s bathing suit figure. With it she couldn’t miss a chance with success. She is a well-known model of the famous French bathing suit. Phillis is quite the celebrity now. A TV talent scout discovered her while she was still at Wakelon. Her famous program comes on every Monday night. So, you have a date at eight with your TV set and I Love Phillis. Carl Puryear had been a steady date with one of our school buses all four years of high school. After school was out there was no reason for him to stop operating a bus, so for these ten long years he has been number one driver for Carolina Trailways. Martha Medlin is now drawing Comic Strips for A l Capp. Since Martha started working for him, he changed the name of his strip to Little Jimmy. Becky Brantley is now known all over the world as the Quiz Kidd Genius because of her intellectual ability. She has put the famous Quiz .Kidds out of business. As for us, well, we liked this business so well that we decided to make it our profession. Be watching for us when we come through Zebulon. We are known as the Duet Behind the Eight-Ball, Get Two Fortunes for the Price of One.” HELEN TODD SHERLEY RICHARDS Prophets We, the Senior Class of nineteen-hundred and fifty-four, of Wakelon High School, supposedly sound in mind, do as solemnly as possible declare this to be out last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all other testimonial writings heretofore made by us.
