To you - the Editor, Sponsor and Staff of this WAK-IGH-AN, I ex¬ tend for myself and the entire school, our heartiest congratulations for your efforts in producing this fine book. Your class has developed traits of leadership in this endeavor, as well as in your many other activities. I would urge all the members of your class to try to develop properly your many talents in order to enable you to make worth¬ while contributions to this world in which you live. You are learning those ideals and principles herein school that will carry over into adult life. All of us, who have had apart in your training, hope that we have helped you to be better able to take your places as good citizens and leaders in tomorrow ' s society. I would urge you to continue your training, for your future responsibilities will demand consecrated effort and thought. I would further urge you to take a stand always for what is right and then stick by your con¬ victions. In saying farewell, we would leave you with this thought from Henry Van Dyke: Four things a man must learn to do If he would keep his record true: To think without confusion clearly: To love his fellow-man sincerely: To act from honest motives purely: To trust in God and Heaven securely. ”
