Mr. Fred A. Smith, Principal of Wakelon School He attended Elon College and attended summer sessions at Duke University, University of North Carolina, and Wake Forest. He was principal at Ros e Hill for three years and has taught at Perquimans County High School, Ahoskie High School, Littleton High School, and State College. In addition to his many duties as principal, he also led the Wakelon girls’ basketball team to many victories. We, the Senior Class, will remember his words of guidance that he gave us during the years that he was our leader.
