Miss Grace Aline Franck We, the seniors of l948,wish to dedicate this an nual to Miss Grace Aline Franck, whose skillful gui- dance and cooperation has made our annual possible. Miss Franck graduated from Woman's College of University of North Carolina in 1942. From 1942-1944 she taught at Fremont High School Fremont, North Caro- lina. From 1944-1947 she worked in Washington, D. C. and Atlanta Georgia as administrative analyst for the Ug S. Army Air forces. In 1947 she joined the Wakelon Staff as a French and English teacher. ,, 1,

IN MENURIAM We, the Senior Class,prepare this annual in memory of our dearly beloved classmate, William Leon Fowler, who was fatally injured on May lO, 197-I-7, His death occurred during our Junior year in high school. He was loved by everyone and took part in many activities of the school. As we graduate we will be thinking of him and his memory will linger with us during the remainder of our travels through life.
