Student eouncil 'l'he Student Council startedits secondyear at llakefield lligh tl1is year. The Presidents of the various organizations made up the Council. Superintendent Callaway was the sponsor. It is the purpose of the Student Council to establish regulations of the number of school parties, to promote good school spirit, to better the pupil-teacher relationship, and to establish students' individual pride in the school. ln addition, the Student Council this year sponsored an all-school dance. We feel this second year of our Student Council has been very successful, and hope that in the future the range of activities of the Student Council will be continually expanded. Marlene Park, liinda iiolm, and Janice ilelgren assisted Mrs. Hughes with the directing, and the entire class cooperated in a pie social at the close.
