D Principal's Message To the Class of l982: The speed with which our world events move outdistances our biological rhythms. The age of MX missiles, space shuttles, cable television, radar jet planes, a growing electronic telecommunications industry, contrasted with energy concerns, environmental concerns, inflation and a nation of huge institutions,including government,all tend to minimize the role and perception of man in his society. For each of you to seek out your own peace, security and space is very necessary. The healing medicine of civilization is found in common values of decency, respect for others, belief in equality of opportunity, hard work, and faith in the future. To the Class of l982, congratulations, may you help to shape our world in a livable fashion where human values are in control of faciety rather than being controlled, and where each of you can live a Q '-,r'dl and productive life.
