'WN KATHERINE ELIZABETH CANNON 15 Stedman Street Quiet Kathy was a member of the high school band for four years. a member of Inter Nos. and served on the Senior Play Ticket Committee . . . outside of school she is a member of Rainbow . . . favorite possession is her contact lenses and Kathy's hobby is reading . . . will always remember the rainy football games. especially Melrose '62 . . . future plans include college and majoring in Home Economics. JO-ANN CARBONEAU 37 Avon Street MICHAEL ANGELO CARCHIA, JR. 35 Byron Street Active Mike has his sights set on college . . . enjoys sports and his license . . . school activities include National Honor Soci- ety, Dance Band. Business Editor of the Ortiz-lv, Intramural Basketball, Prom Committees. Senior Play Staff and he is chairman of the Class Will Committee . . . wants someday to fly a jet plane . . . enjoys Physics with Mr. Woodman and will always remember the football games at W.H.S. LINDA LOUISE CARLETON 52 Oak Street o i Jo. whose favorite possession is her class ring, enjoys reading and watching television . . . her suppressed desire is to use her driver's license . . . Inter Nos. the Oracle, Pep Club, C.Y.O. and Junior Prom Committee have kept Jo busy . . . she will never forget working as a waitress at the Lord Wakefield . . . hopes to become an airline hostess. Leader's Club, Soph Hop Committee, and Junior Prom Com- mittee are among Leelocks school activities. Outside of school she participates in Youth Club and Rainbow. Suppressed desire is to live in an apartment . . . treasures her teddy bear Rapid and her stuffed dog BeeCee . . . dislikes people who constantly argue. Her future plans include attending a Junior College . . . will never forget the 1962 Melrose-Wakefield Hockey Game . . . Her advice to underclassmen is Don't wait till the last minute. CAROLYN CARLEY 67 Forest Street Ambitious Cal is kept busy with F.T.A., Inter Nos, Band, Girls, Choir, Thespians. Oracle, Rifle Club, and various church activities . . . enjoys sewing, knitting, swimming, and camping out . . . wants so badly to take a cement block out of the corner of the gymnasium . . . holds the memory of the trip to Atlantic City as the best . . . treasures her charm bracelet . . . hopes to become a high school English teacher. RICHARD KING CARTER 16 Spruce Street Bowling, hunting, fishing, and water skiing are Dick's favorite pastimes. He hopes to become an electrician or mechanic . . . dislikes girls that smoke . . . will always remember the football games and the school lunches. Dick advises underclassmen to stay away from Mr. Sardella's office!
