The years we spend in high school provide a time for many things -all of which may be joined under the heading: EDUCATION Everyone acquires this education whether it be oriented strictly along academic lines or not. The faculty supervises the general scope of activities, scholastic or otherwise. The student studies his subjects, the athlete plays his sports, and the socialite seeks enter- tainment. Many students also participate in various phases of extracurricular activities. Each person learns and practices the fields for which he is best suited. The senior represents the finished product of this process. Thus, in a very real and imminent sense, the high school student is preparing himself for whatever is to be the next step in his life. 2
