10.7 A I 'ToWi'C'id Fifty years ago the first ECHO was published. Through the years, except during World War II, the ECHO has portrayed the activities of Wakefield High School students. Publication and photography costs are continuously on the rise. From a cost of approximately $300 in 1948, the Echo staff of 1974 is spending nearly $ 2500. The editors and staff hope that future classes will be able to continue publishing the ECHO and that area businesses and residents will continue to give the support to this fine activity. 3 °Wt, tde c daM ojr C174, ti'isK to dfdu atf m by understanding my problems; to overcome my fears; to live my life above doubt and skepticism; to keep the ideals of youth aglow; to live bravely and to meet defeat courageously; to understand that every wish is a prayer; to learn the values of life; to learn that true happiness is found, not in things, but in our minds and our souls. the strong hand of guidance; a sense of humor; the patience of the silent stars; i)ook lo wl And xym to write 9JW KeHf) moHi ifiinys elm GiantnunCj, studying, up oPP ntfjfit cySfv. }WHwn Gh j SEATED, Left to Right: Edwin W.
