Industrial Arts, Freshman Class Advisor. Me z The three departments of the Industrial Arts department were headed by Mr zano and Mr. Petranek. The woodwork class was directed by Mr. Petranek. The students, which are all boys, have made many useful and decorative articles, such as: cedar chests, book cases, hat trees, end tables, and coffee tables. The drafting classes learned how to make blueprints. In that way they could guide when they made a project follow a Mr. how they The cabinet students. Mezzano's machine shop classes learned interesting things about machines, run, and the different kinds. Under the direction of Mr, Olson the latin I and II classes learned a language which is very useful to one who intends on going on to school or college. They had their annual Latin Banquet in the spring and had a gala time. The Latin paper, Arectus Aribus, is their successful club newspaper which is published every nine weeks• There are thirty-five students in the Latin classes. A new class, which was added to the list of classes, is the Driver Training Course, headed by Mr. Olson.
