HE P1lRPl'QUH' s L, The purpose of this book is to depict the Senior year of the 1946 class of Wakarusa, in the hope that it may help to keep alive glowing memories of a happy high school life. -Lt has been the policy of our school to develop strong minds and healthy bodies, and to keep in mind the thought that char- acter is above the sceptered sway. Realizing that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, our school has kept open the avenues already created and hewn new pathways to other lands of play and recre- ation. We have much faith in the old song Uwork for the Night Is p Coming,W and thus have kept work in mind. w NU UF y
