1 A1155 N l',I.bON Miss Wicxri' OFFICE FURCE WVhen Wfaite High School came into existence. it was found that an oiiice :force would be necessary to care for club money, answer the many questions put to them by cur- ious or puzzled students, parents, and teachers, and per- form various other duties. Through this necessity, Miss janet Roche, and Miss Mabel VVemp came to assist Mr. Gayman. Although several changes have been made in ofhce girls, we wish to recognize here Miss Wemp who has re- mained, here throughout the entire twenty-live years and who has so ably cared for the riches that roll into the ofhce from our club treasuries. She also is in charge of the book room and the Libbey Scholarship roll, After Mrs. Evans left the force in 1934, Miss Doris Nelson came. Immediately Miss Nelson aptly took charge of credits and activity schedules in addition to the many other miscellaneous duties which need her attention. An increase in enrollment and extra-curricular activi- ties brought about the necessity for an enlarged office staff. Mrs. Geraldine Mau satisfied this need, and took up her duties in 1936. Her time is fully occupied in caring for attendance and the National Youth Administration. VVe have yet to recognize one who works untiringly for our comfort with very little acknowledgment. To Mr. George Keller we offer our felicitations on his twenty-fifth year of service to the student bodies of Wziite High. A Now to all the staffs, both past and present, the students give their words of praise. May the staff of 1939 continue to serve in all its excellencies, and may they be as happy here as they are helpful. l GEORGE KELLER Page FI:ffl'l'7l ,egg A' Luunmibz'
