Cfwwagw The theme of your annual, The Good Times is most appropriate and reflects well the mood and tempo of our school, Waipahu High. It conveys in a very positive manner, the idea that as a focal point for some two thousand students, Waipahu High must represent more than the learning of the basic academic skills - that it must also be a place of fond memories and good times. Throughout the school year, every effort has been made to establish a school emphasizing not only the academic areas, but also the human ele- ments of living. We sincerely wish, therefore, that as you think back into the school year you can recall a place of warmth and a friendliness - a pleasant place. For those of you who are leaving Waipahu High, we hope than-filled days, and you can say emphatically that, those were the good times. With this brief message, may I take the opportu- nity to thank each and every one of you for wel- coming me to your school.
