This committee has taken care of the observers to the monthly Student Council meetings. Each month twelve students were given excuse slips to attend the meetings. These students c o u 1 d take part in discussion but were not allowed to vote. Co-chairmen for this committee were Faith Tanaka and Laura Yoshimoto. Charlene Okada Record Room Reports The purpose of this committee is to promote better relations between the Students Council and the Student Body of Waimea High School, and to get the students more concemed with Student Council affairs. This committee was headed by co- chairmen Charlene Okada and Lois Kaneyama. Calendar The piupose of this committee is to plan the year ' s school and class activities. Spirit Md Kally Gary onalnine ChairMiany The Spirit and Rally Corainittee chalked up another year o f sue - cessfully held programs and activ- ities. This committee had the hectic pleasure of running the first food booth at the Hanapepe Stadi- um which was a complete success. It coordinated numerous pep rallies as well as the elaborate and color- ful Homecoming Programs. The school ' s largest committee, the group endeavored to instill within the hearts of each student, the es- sence of the true-blue Menehune spirit .
