We have progressed tremendously since that memorable day when we were bashful freshmen, Our progress has been a conspicuous one. Under competent supervision and guidance, we have molded ourselves into individuals, confident and sturdy seniors. We have carried out our class motto: A Step Forward Is A Step To Success. As a climax to our senior year, it is my hope that every senior will enrich his memories of the class of '57 with events of class day, senior prom, banquet an d picnic. Football is a sport acclaimed by fans throughout the nation. Girls as well as boys love to play football. This sport has brought entertainment and fun to people who enjoy football. The Waimea Menehune Warriors under the coaching of Mr. Melvin Tsuchiya and Mr. Richard Doi, did their best to capture the Championship of the KIF league, but being handicapped in stature and weight, our plucky Menehunes were able to win only one game out of four. However, under the leadership of co-captains, Roland Albarado and Fred Shimonishi, it can be said that the team showed good sportsmanship through out the season.
