Someday We 'll Be Together was the theme of the entire class, for here was a class who believed in unity. ln their Junior year they proved themselves to be competent and enterprising, They had two money-making pro- jects which included cleaning up the football field and a shave ice booth which was certainly a welcome treat for all, They had a right that year to say, I'm So Proud , and that is just what they did, for I'm So Proud was the theme of a very successful and romantic Junior Prom. Perhaps Senior year, and rightly so, proved to be the most memorable year of all. It was a year full of bitter- sweet memories for everyone in the Class of '72, The Seniors' choice of Precious and Few as the theme for their Senior Ball and Banquet revealed their realization that the joyful intimacies of youth are indeed Precious and Few , but now it is no longer time to look back. Graduation marks a new beginning and as they sing their class song, Some- where , each individual mind is filled with secret hopes and fears, but all hearts beat as one and share the common belief that there is indeed A Place For Us. 34

Somewhere There 's a place for us, Somewhere a place for us, Peace and quiet and room and air Wait for us -Somewhere, There's a time for us, Someday a time for us, Time together with time to spare, Time to learn, time to care Someday! Somewhere We'1l find a new way of living, We'1l find a way of forgiving Somewhere , Somewhere , , . There's a place for us, A time and place for us, Hold my hand and we 're halfway there Hold my hand and I'1l take you there Someday, Somehow, Somewhere!
