Craftsmen Practice Skills Athletics, academics, and school activities are among the top achievements of many students, while many students with artistic skills go unnoticed. The two shop classes and art classes have made several outstanding artistic achievements with little recognition. Students work long, hard hours in class and outside of school to improve on their skills. Many of the students are enrolled in these special courses because they enjoy art and do it mainly as a hobby. Other students take the classes more seriously as they plan to pursue a career in the fine arts. LEFT Jeff puts the finishing touches on a project for home, a drafting table. ABOVE Steve is busy at work on one of his favorite hobbies. He is working on a picture from the basketball team to Mr. Anderson. 11 Steve won a Scholastic Art Award for one of his drawings.

nber most about highschool? Tracy Peterson I can’t say that there’s one thing I’ll remember most because so much has happened. One thing I will remember, is our Jr. Prom, because it was the first dance I had been to at our school where people were actually dancing and having a great time. Eric Lubker I will remember parties and decorating my locker — Roaming the halls and having teachers yell at me for causing trouble. Tracy Kelley I will remember the summer before my senior year, and coming back to school. I had to readjust to my friends, and they had to adjust to me. It was hard, but we finally did it. Bryn Tejral I will remember all the carefree times and the Homestead. Sandra Rogers I will remember the people. There are diverse and unique people in our school system. Laurie Fiala I will remember the teachers and their bad habits — Mr. Weyand licking magic markers and the huge puffs of smoke from the teachers’ lounge.
