Wahoo’s Own “Monumental Experience” Wahoo students have made the journey to Washington D.C., for the third consecutive year. This year’s trip took along the largest number of Wahoo students ever. The Wahoo delegation consisted of three seniors (Anne Brandt, Tom Kunkle and Todd Malousek) and ten juniors (Carol Cook, Jane Cook, Lanette Dvorak, Laurie Fiala, Kim Johnston, Matt McDonald, Lisa Nozicka, Sandra Rogers and Jeff Ohnoutka). John Horsham was the sponsor for this unruly crowd. The Washington experience is one that is not soon forgotten. Nor are the friends you make and become very close to during your all-too-short weeks stay. Museums and monuments are strewn throughout the city. One could spend months on end visiting them, but no single person could ever hope to see as much, in a months time, that students in the Close-Up program see in a week.
