LEFT Stacy performs the laborious task of making and developing prints. BELOW Members of the 1985-86 Yearbook Staff set up the cover photo for the yearbook at Joe Vculek's studio. Yearbook Staff Deadlines were very real for the 1985-86 yearbook staff — deadlines for layouts, deadlines for pictures and deadlines for captions and copy. The staff decided to give the yearbook a different look this year. Tool lines were added to the layouts, more creative designs were used and the cover for the '85-86 yearbook took on a different look as well. The staff found what they were looking for — a fresh look. They also questioned what it was they were trying to do. Was it to be an athletic journal, an academic record, a photo album? It was to be a time capsule, a way of recording what it was that we did during four very important years of our lives. And that is what the '85-'86 staff tried to assemble — words and pictures with a purpose. LEFT Tom makes a test print in the darkroom before printing a picture. FAR LEFT J.B. shoots pictures of a girls basketball game for his layout. 7
