Freshmen Tryout for Cheerleading The 1984-85 Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Wrestling cheerleaders were chosen in a different manner this year. UNO yell leaders and grade school teachers voted on the cheerleaders instead of the traditional way. Freshman girls were also eligible to try out for cheerleading.
