Pep Club Cheerleaders Purchase Uniforms What would any athletic team do without their Pep Club and cheerleaders cheering them on? Well ... for one thing, everyone not playing wouldn't have anything to look at, but that's not what these faithful girls are there for. They are there to cheer on the team and the 1980-81 Pep Club and cheerleaders fulfilled this expectation to the utmost. The Pep Club and cheerleaders all purchased new uniforms this year. The Pep Club's new uniforms consisted of blue overalls worn with a light yellow blouse. The total cost for each member to purchase this outfit was about $25.00. All the cheerleading squads also acquired very attractive new uniforms. The Pep Club sponsored many successful fund raisers this year ranging from the sale of Wahoo jerseys and shirts to a bake sale. Once in a while the athletes were treated to breakfasts prepared by the cheerleaders. The annual 'Spirit Week' was also a big success.
