Candy Sales Buy Benches The Art Club was busy again with their annual candy sale and field trips. The profits from the candy sale were used to purchase lumber to construct benches for placement around the school. Ms. Bakewell thought the sale was “very successful and almost as profitable as last year.” A few of the Art Club members attended the 12th Annual Capitol Conference Art Show held at the Gateway Mall in Lincoln. The Art Club also visited Joslyn Art Museum and the Old Market, both in Omaha. I. Mike Lindley works on a design in art class. 2. Ms. Bakewell talks with Pat Nelson and Betty Jonas. 3. Art Club members rest on the trip back to Wahoo from an art show. 10
