Oriental Garden Setting For Perfect Night Beautiful weather prevailed for the Junior-Senior Prom on Friday, May 7. The romantic night was the culmination of many weeks of planning and hard work for the juniors and their sponsors. Juniors and the honored seniors and faculty arrived at the banquet to be welcomed by the atmosphere of Oriental Gardens , the theme for the 1976 prom. Following a delicious meal and a short intermission, a dance was held in the gym. Vince Snyder and Deb Laudenback reigned as king and queen for the occasion, with Nick Thompson and Cindy Jansen as their first attendants. PROM-23

The 1976 Speech' Team was busy this year traveling to the Capital Conference meet in Ashland, the District meet in Blair, and sending one member to the State meet in Kearney. Senior Barb Lindgren earned a trip to state by receiving a superior rating on her After Dinner Speech at the district contest. Since the team consisted of only seniors, Coach Beverly Hudson is looking forward to building a new team next year.
