Student Council Entertains, Raises Money For Charity The 1975-76 Student Council started off the school year with a freshman mixer. Sound Electronics in Lincoln provided a disc jockey and music. Later, the council organized a Thanksgiving dinner for a needy family and a Christmas Party for the entire student body. A Christmas Dance was also held on December 23 with music provided by Todays Sound. Other activities included: selling hats and scarves, maintaining pop machines for both student and faculty members, and fund raising for charity. The Student Council was advised and sponsored by Mr. Carlson.

FHA Small But Strong FHA, with a new advisor Sharon Skipton, led an active, creative year planning parties, raffles, and exciting events. The annual goodies raffle was not held this year due to conflicts in scheduling. For the first time, a boy won recognition by winning the Betty Crocker Search for Leadership test. Chuck Hoppe earned the highest score from this school and therefore won a chance at scholarships and trips. As the year drew to a close FHA continued planning to build and promote their small organization. LEFT: Chuck Hoppe poses for picture after winning the Betty Crocker Award.
