Staff Plans, Works Hard After deciding on a theme, the thirteen member Thunder-bird staff and advisor Doug Watts began the long task of piecing together the 1975-76 edition. Pictures had to be taken, copies written, headlines chosen, and all in time to meet the early deadlines. Every member of the staff was assigned a certain section to plan. Problems in planning included everything from bad films to getting people in the right place at the right time in order to take pictures. All in all, the experienced Journalism II class was successful in completing another part of Wahoo High history. CLOCKWISE STARTING ABOVE 1976 Annual Staff. FRONT RC Miller, R. Johnson, K. “Victory Theme Brings Victory “Warrior Victory was the governing theme of Homecoming 1975. The festivities started with pep club decorating lockers on Monday and a parade downtown on Friday. Featured in the parade were the Queen and King candidates, the WHS marching band, Pep Club, W Club and all high school cheerleaders also participated. A short skit was presented by the junior girls as the rally ended with a victory cheer. Friday night the Warriors defeated the Columbus Lakeview Vikings 19-18. The coronation of Queen Phyllis Caha and King Larry Veskerna highlighted the Warrior's dance. Airborn provided music for the dance held at the Wahoo High school gym following the game. HOMECOMING-11
