PEP CL BOOSTS TH ASM The Pep Club had an extremely busy sea- son. It started the year with a Snake Dance to generate enthusiasm for the football sea- son. The Homecoming activities included a bonfire, decorating the gym, making those adorable garters for the team to wear and taking part in the Homecoming Parade. During the District Basketball Tourney, the girls were especially active. The girls could be seen every night putting signs on the players houses, serenading the boys, and finally kidnapping and treating them at Fairview. Several changes have taken place this year. The traditional blue and gold outfits were changed to blue sailor-tops and blue skirts. The use of flash cards in the Pep Club section at the games, was another first at W.H.S. The year was highlighted by a dinner at the Star Broiler in Fremont. Thanks to the work of the president Linda Holstein, and the sponsors, Mrs. Stockall and Mrs. Albers, the year was a big success. l ' A 2 el r . I J ZA .J ia Come on, team! Victory! .
