Della Fudge and Lianne Wright did a commendable iob on the wardrobe and commentary. Gwen Jacobson and Deanna Wendt, chairmen of the program and invitation committees, worked hand-in-hand to carry out the Dutch theme. MOTHERS Mida Dodge was chairman for the re- freshments committee which prepared all the food for the tea. HONORED Jean Adams, Karen Rich- ardson ancl Tony Kuliis did a superb job of carrying the theme through on the stage and on the floor decora- tions. Chairman, Mary Lou Trum- bull, worked to provide the background music of Hi Fi numbers. Peggy Madden was chair- man of the entertainment committee. Lyla Westbrook and Mary Ann Johnson worked together on the table decorations and the flowers to help the atmosphere found in Holland, GIRLS' LEAGUE HONORS MOTHERS AT TEA Mothers of WHS students were honored at a tea, May 7. Corsages of baby iris were given to the mothers as they entered the gym. The theme, Whispering Windmills, was carried out with a huge windmill on the stage. Small blue windmills were centerpieces on each table. Entertainment for the lovely affair consisted of songs by the boys' quartet-Bob Adair, Tim Jacobson, Bernie Vog, and Gilbert Vik. They sang Kansas City and 26 Miles, accompanied by Lee Evans. Marty Hendrickson played a piano solo, Autumn Nocturne. Gwen Jacobson played two saxophone solos, Tenderly and Around the World in Eighty Days, accompanied by Lee Evans. The grand finale of the afternoon was the style show presented by Myklebust's Department Store of Longview. Girls modeling the fashions were: Mida Dodge, Mary Smith, Barbara Rodal, Mary Ann Johnson, Sandy Neilson, Geri Boldt, Antoinette Kuliis, Shirley Cook, and Cleona Spillman.
