They are George Lechner, Robert Rodal, Larry Hosley, Jim Anderson, and Tim Jacobson. Each played outstanding ball in his last year and they I al worked very hard and functioned as a good team. Each was a factor in the highly successful season in which the Mules almost went to the State B tournament J' ' im Anderson and Larry Hosley were the Co-captains all year long and carried the team very well. George Lechner was the out- standing player on the club. He won the most inspirational award, the most valuable player award, and shared the free-throw trophy with his fellow senior, Jim Ander- son. All of the boys played very well and each of the five had their nights of glory. When every boy played his best, they were very tough to beat, as they carried the team to a won-lost record of I8- it 8, including 3 wins and 2 losses in the Southwest Washington class B tournament.
