To start the ball rolling this year, the Girls' Athletic Asso- ciation made and adopted a if new constitution. They spon- Q sored a candy-cake walk and .L a St. Patrick's dance. They also sponsored the girls' interclass basketball games in March. The association sent girls to several play days where they com- peted with girls from other schools. The girls worked hard this year to obtain the points necessary for award certifi- cates. These points were earned by attending weekly tu r n o u ts. Each year it is their custom to award to the graduating football and basketball players a small token ot remembrance of their sports-filled days at Wa-Ki-I-Ii.
