This year a silver tea service vvas given to the Girls' League by the Cathlamet Women's Club. Girls' League also took over a booth at the W Club Carnival. At Girls' League meetings during the year, guest speakers were featured. On May 7, the annual Mothers' Tea was given. To start the ball rolling this year, the Girls' Athletic Asso- ciation made and adopted a if new constitution. They spon- Q sored a candy-cake walk and .L a St. Patrick's dance. They also sponsored the girls' interclass basketball games in March. The association sent girls to several play days where they com- peted with girls from other schools. The girls worked hard this year to obtain the points necessary for award certifi- cates. These points were earned by attending weekly tu r n o u ts.
