Treasurer Bob Eaton, not pictured. Future Farmers of America or F.F.A. is the national organization of, by, and for boys studying vo- cational agriculture. The primary aim of the F.F.A. is the development of agricultural leadership and cooperation. They hold many activities through the summer and school year, such as: public speaking contests, par- liamentary procedure demonstra- tions, and state, county and district contests. In raising money to help pay for their activities there were: sale of cider and pencils, turkey raffle, clip- ping cows and shearing sheep, and the concession during the fair.

Everman, Sandy Jacobson, Normie Gorman, Judy AND CHDIR Directed by Mr. Lee Evans, the band and choir presented the Christ- mas musical, Christmas Party. They also sang and played down- town for the Christmas tree light- ing Thursday, December 5. They attended both the Pacific County Music Festival at South Bend and the Southwest Washington Class C meet at Morton in March. ln April they gave the annual spring con- cert. The pep band played at foot- ball and basketball games. During the year musical groups performed at assemblies and for organizations in the community. The able accompanist for choir was Judy Wendt. This year a silver tea service vvas given to the Girls' League by the Cathlamet Women's Club. Girls' League also took over a booth at the W Club Carnival. At Girls' League meetings during the year, guest speakers were featured. On May 7, the annual Mothers' Tea was given.
