Third row: Joanne Cook, Donna Cook, Jo Ann House, Dennis Barkley, Wally Cochran, Sandra Jacobson. Miss McCarter is teaching English I, Learning plenty, freshmen? Activities of the class of 1961 started out with ini- tiation, administered by the seniors. The seniors were as mean as they could be lin the opinion of the fresh- ment. Many freshman boys turned out for football, some of whom played in league games. The freshmen added to their funds by taking charge of a concession at a foot- ball game. At the end of the year the freshmen sponsored the Senior Farewell dance, which was enioyed by everyone. The freshmen are look- ing forward with enthu- siasm to their next years at Wa-Ki-Hi.
