SUPERINTENDENT JULIUS A. WENDT PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE Time passes swiftly and in these fleeting days seniors SU PERI NTEN DENT'S MESSAGE Seniors of 1958, you are graduating from high school at a time when much is demanded of you. At no time has so much emphasis been put on the importance of education. Industry, science, the professions are all demanding highly trained and specialized workers and competition in all these fields is keen. True, this is a time of great opportunity but not without industry and hard work. To meet the challenge of this age you will have to expend yourself to the limit of your abilities. As you leave this high school I wish you well. What- ever you choose to do with your life, give it the best you have, no less, and you will be rewarded. SCHOOL BOARD Jack Linquist Harry Olsen Britanus Vik Eli Doumit Jack Worthington will experience various moods. The drudgery of the moment with the endless repetitious tasks is replaced at times by the challenge of the future. The happiness brought by school ending alternates with sadness upon leaving friends and a familiar situation. Your education is not merely schooling. It is a life- long self discipline and training which should be en- couraged by a reasonable opportunity to lead a good life and seek certain goals. These goals are generally vague. If you have planned well, however, you will soon see a certainty of need and follow a definite program of work or study. Appreciate the present then with its thorny problems and ioys. Life passes swiftly-live it to its fullest. PRINCIPAL HAROLD E. KLOES
