The name of the club was changed this year and is now known as the Girls' League. Every girl in the high school belongs to the organ- ization. Ione Irving, Beulah Jaspers, Bernice McEvoy and Marion Olson represented the 'Wahkiakum High School Girls' League at the Girls' League Confer- ence in Chehalis last fall. In April, delegates were elected to attend the Girls' League Spring Convention held in White Sal- mon. Those elected were: Cora Holland from the Freshman Class, Jean Edy from the Sophomore Class, Dorothy Haughan from the Junior Class and Ethel Tracy who will be next year's president. In May a Mothers' Tea was given for the moth- ers of the boys and girls of this high school. The affair began with a regular meeting of the Girls' League. A formal installation of officers was then held. Card tables were arranged about the gym for the tea. While tea was served, a style show was presented by the girls who have made clothes in Home Economics. During the year several interesting programs were held and were presented by girls of the club after the business meetings. , .. . ...,,i..-... x........: MM, . .. -.. W' J., ..,,. n .Y L H..
