Who would answer the phone, type, file and enroll students? These are just a few of the many things involved in an active days work. The summer before we dressed up and went to Muskogee to have our senior pietures taken. ACT time eame. We all tried our best. Everyone wanted to know what everyone else made. Then we rationalized our sueeess and failures. The final copy of our term paper was due before we had started on the rough draft. Yet somehow we got it done and passed. Before long we had senior assemblies to at- tend and we were on our way to Six Flags. Then grad- uation had arrived. For the last time the 1976-77 Senior Class assembled together. There was joy in graduating from High School, but there also was sad- ness in leaving old friends. Yet we were willing to leave it all behind us-the good times and the bad- and go look for our futures. 7 7 i 44 en O O 0 0 1 1 A 10096 zmior , 1 lmading lhm- junior Class this yvar was: Tracey Wilson, Jr -si ll l' D I ' N1 ffl ' ' '- I and Mr. ,lim Prall wvrv our Sponsors. 46 5 1 un , e wrd 1 L wwdn, vnu pn su 1-nlg and Janice- Clayton, sf-vrvlary. Coaches Pat Young, and assistant Larry Cox, took this group ofdedicated athletes and together they produced the winningest sport at WHS. The wrestling program, with 18 wrestlers, sported a 10-4--1 record. The wrestlers added another first to their list of achievements, they completely shut out Stilwell 61-0. Another feat the wrestlers achieved was placing 10 out oftwelve wrestlers at the Maverick Con- ference Tournament and bringing home a second place trophy. 126 inningest Sport ' EI:31mT :,,.. , , . 5 Wagoner Wagoner Wagoner Wagoner Wagmmric-r W3g1llll'l Wagoner Wagoner Wagoner Wagon er Wagon er Wagoner Wagoner Wagoner The 76-77 Record is as follows: 15 Slciatook 20 Tulsa Union 30 Sallisaw 14 Owasso Bixby Tournament 3rcl. 30 Miami 1 l Bristow 27 Hulbert 38 Sallisaw Wagoner Tournament 3rcl. 29 Fort Gibson 31 Locust Grove 34 Sallisaw Maverick Conference Znd. 61 Stillwell 34- Claremore 28 Collinsville Regional 4th Q X if ASA wp Y E S R Q ,Q s p 1 f A Q,-, ... m I . ! S restling- Take own Wagoner's future high school wrestlers prepared themselves the day when they would bein high school. This year, while freshmen and eighth graders, they worked hard to pull their weight, shedding those unwanted pounds, and to prepare themselves for the job of winning. Coach Young provided the experience needed to help the junior high school wrestlers toward their goal. The experience learned in this year's com- petition will not only teach them how to wrestle in high school, but will instill in them the spirit of sportsmanship that will re- main with them beyond high school.
